Australian with 21st century vision: I hope he finds a job

I find On Line Opinion, Australia’s e-journal of social and political debate, profoundly interesting because the comments go beyond a quick forum blurb, but are often essays. Some of the opinions scare me, like the individual who stated that teachers should have no say in what or how children learn because they are mere technicians, but Richard Eckersley doesn’t scare me.

Eckersley wants a job. He is willing to put his opinions on his country out there for potential employers to read. They will know who and what they are getting. Read his opinion; he has a vision I think Americans could benefit from embracing. Maybe even give him a job.
